History

The team behind Matador Technologies Corp has deep experience in testing complex software systems. This spans from building the software testing harness for IBM's Unix operating system and POSIX systems in 1985 to testing scores of enterprise software implementations both custom and packaged. Having spent decades working on software implementations and maintenance and seeing first-hand the need for a practical automated integration testing solution, the founders created Matador in 2002. One of the first uses of Matador was to solve these previously intractable application integration testing problems including a 2-year, 400-person, 110 system integration project at British Petroleum. Since then, the Matador QA Solution™ has grown to serve customers in four industry verticals on projects both large and small.
